Public Safety / Security
The Public Safety Department at Renton Technical College provides
full-service, seven days a week, public safety and security services to
the campus community. The Public Safety Department is located on
the main campus of Renton Technical College in the
Technology Resource Center (Building C) room 102C.
The Public Safety Department works closely with the Renton Police and
Fire Departments and other local emergency service agencies. The
Public Safety Department acts as the first responder for all
incidents on campus, provides general patrol of campus facilities and
property, manages both traffic safety and parking management for the
college, coordinates emergency preparedness planning and provides crime
prevention programming. The department responds to all reports of
fire and/or medical aid working in support of the Renton Fire
Department.
