Program Outcomes

Graduates of the Applications Developer program will be able to:

• Demonstrate appropriate business and technical skills for entry into the Information Technology industry.  

• Develop specific technical skills necessary to assemble personal computers and troubleshoot basic problems.  

• Develop specific technical skills necessary to set up and configure basic peer to peer and domain-based networks.  

• Be aware of safety issues and procedures pertaining to PC troubleshooting and assembly  

•  Create and modify graphics-based projects using a variety of digital imaging software and technologies. 

• Design, develop, and test basic Windows-based programming applications and web pages.  

• Use Microsoft Office applications to complete writing projects, presentations, and database projects.

• Be able to create, explain, and implement basic software testing plans.
