Program Outcomes

• Have the necessary skills for entry into the automotive repair industry.
• Have the ability to diagnose and successfully repair automotive, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate proper use of the required tools and equipment necessary in this trade.
• Have the ability to access service and parts information via all industry formats including printed, CD-ROM and the Internet.
• Achieve Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for working with refrigerants.
• Achieve a valid Industry CPR/First Aid card and will be aware of safety precautions pertaining to the installation and operation of all products.
• Understand and practice good customer communication skills.
• Have a completed resume and the ability to properly present themselves during a job interview.
• Be prepared to take ASE examinations in the eight automotive specialty areas.
