Program Outcomes
Graduates of the Professional Baking program will:
-
Be able to work effectively in a professional baking environment, such as a
retail bakery, specialty shops, in-store bakeries, hotels, restaurants, and
other food related businesses.

Be able to interpret weights and measurements, calculate recipes, understand
cost control, and inventory.

Have knowledge in applied math, communication and human relations, safety and
sanitation, industry terminology, and interpersonal relationships.

Have knowledge in oven work, mixing and scaling, pies and pastries, cookies,
doughnuts, and dough production.
