Program Outcomes
Graduates of the Construction Management program will be able to:

Determine personnel, material, and financial resources necessary to manage
construction projects.

Synthesize information from building codes, zoning and other laws, and
manufacturers' specifications.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, subordinates, subcontractors,
customers, and regulatory personnel orally and in writing.

Write bids, contracts, and other construction management documents in
accordance with industry standards.

Use technology to obtain, organize, and distribute information.

Draw conclusions and make management decisions based on available information.

Demonstrate leadership, motivation, and problem solving skills in diverse and
complex work situations.

Apply ethical business principles to construction management settings.

Describe under what conditions it would be appropriate to use various
construction materials, methods, and systems.

Create schedules, budgets, and plans that can be monitored to keep projects
going smoothly.
