Graduates of the Land Survey Technician program will be able to:
Participate fully in field crew activities from operating current survey
instruments to effective reconnaissance and staking.
Work effectively as a member of a professional team to advance safety, respect,
and high-quality production.
Communicate effectively in written form.
Solve applied mathematical problems at a level that exceeds the level of
complexity possible for job-trained technicians.
Prepare complete field records and be prepared to participate fully in data
processing, presentation, and customer relations.
Practice a code of ethics that meets the professional ethics prescribed by the
professional organizations and state codes, along with those goals of
environmental awareness and human relationship awareness prescribed by the
