Program Outcomes

Graduates of the Land Survey Technician program will be able to:

• Participate fully in field crew activities from operating current survey instruments to effective reconnaissance and staking.
• Work effectively as a member of a professional team to advance safety, respect, and high-quality production.
• Communicate effectively in written form.
• Solve applied mathematical problems at a level that exceeds the level of complexity possible for job-trained technicians.
• Prepare complete field records and be prepared to participate fully in data processing, presentation, and customer relations.
• Practice a code of ethics that meets the professional ethics prescribed by the professional organizations and state codes, along with those goals of environmental awareness and human relationship awareness prescribed by the school.
