General Education classes are offered to meet the requirements for an AAS
Degree. Transferability of General Education credits taken at Renton Technical
College is subject to the policies in place at the receiving institution. To
register for Math or English classes (including Business Writing and Technical
Writing), students must first take the COMPASS test and then meet with an RTC
counselor.
