The Associated General Contractors of Washington Education Foundation Ready Set Build program is a three hour hands-on construction learning experience developed for 5-8th grade students.  Ready Set Build staff brings a construction project into the school setting where students are assigned tasks which utilize:  applied math, analytical thinking, team work and communication skills.  Go to: http://www.constructionfoundation.org/YouthPrograms

Pizza, Pop and Power Tools

Host a lunchtime construction career fair for selected students at your school! Sound Transit and other sponsors are apprenticeships to meet with students over pizza lunch and share construction education information.
