Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, AASHE is an association of colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada working to create a sustainable future. It was founded in 2006 with a mission to promote sustainability in all sectors of higher education.

The BlueGreen Alliance
The BlueGreen Alliance is a strategic initiative led by the United Steelworkers and the Sierra Club. Launched in 2006, the focus is on three key topics; global warming and clean energy, fair trade and reducing toxics.

Built Green, King and Snohomish Counties
Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, developed in partnership with King County, Snohomish County, and other agencies in Washington State.

Built Green Washington
BUILT GREEN Washington is a cooperative of Washington's regional green home building programs. It helps home builders and home buyers get the information needed to build and buy green. The site features a map that links to regional green building resources throughout the state.

Building Industry, Whatcom County
Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County, developed in partnership with other agencies in Washington State.

Business Week, Business Exchange by Business Week is a Web site that allows users to create business topics, collaboratively aggregate content from the entire Web and connect with other business focused users around these topics including; Green Technology,  Green Business,  Sustainable Design, Green Business.

CleanEdison promotes sustainability and green building practices by offering expert advice through consulting services and best-in-class education to professionals serving the green building industry.  They offer training courses in BPI Certification, LEED Certification, and Solar Training.

Eco-Charrette Facilitation
An eco-charrette is an interactive brainstorming and team-building exercise that generates and targets sustainability goals for a green building.  The eco-charrette is usually a full-day facilitated workshop.  Its format is designed to provide a broad overview of environmental and high-performance issues that may affect the project and to create a shared vision on pertinent issues and project approaches.

National Sustainable Building Advisor Program, The National Sustainable Building Advisor Program (NaSBAP) offers a 9-month certificate training course and exam specifically designed for working professionals eager to apply sustainable concepts to the buildings they design, develop, and construct.

U.S. Green Building Council
The U.S. Green Building Council is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

Virtually Green
Their work is a blend of green building research and online journalism.  They do research and case studies of green building and sustainable development, often LEED.
