Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, AASHE is an association of colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada working to create a sustainable future. It was founded in 2006 with a mission to promote sustainability in all sectors of higher education.

BUILT GREEN Washington is a cooperative of Washington's regional green home building programs. It helps home builders and home buyers get the information needed to build and buy green. The site features a map that links to regional green building resources throughout the state.

Building Industry, Whatcom County
Built Green is an environmentally-friendly, non-profit, residential building program of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County, developed in partnership with other agencies in Washington State.

Eco-Charrette Facilitation
An eco-charrette is an interactive brainstorming and team-building exercise that generates and targets sustainability goals for a green building.  The eco-charrette is usually a full-day facilitated workshop.  Its format is designed to provide a broad overview of environmental and high-performance issues that may affect the project and to create a shared vision on pertinent issues and project approaches.
