WELCOME TO RTC - HIGH SCHOOL MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
The "Welcome to Renton Technical College" high school merit scholarship is now open to graduating seniors from the Auburn, Kent, Enumclaw, Issaquah, Renton and Seattle school districts. One senior who enrolls for fall 2014 quarter at RTC will be selected from each district. This is a $500 scholarship applied to fall quarter tuition.

How Do I Apply for Scholarships?

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 27, 2014 BY 5PM– NO EXCEPTIONS

Scholarships will be scored using a rubric (grading scale). Please look at a Sample Application or the Rubric to help you put your application together.

Read application instructions to save and send your application. PLEASE READ IT BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR APPLICATION!

2014 Spring Application – save this to your computer as “YOUR NAME – Scholarship Application” (it must be saved as a separate document, or it will be blank).

How Will I Know if I Receive a Scholarship?
Once scholarships are awarded, you will receive a letter in the mail to inform you of the status of your application. If you are awarded with a scholarship all the details of the amount and which scholarship you were awarded will be listed in the letter.



GED Test Fee Scholarships
If you are enrolled in a Renton Technical College GED preparation program, there are funds available to help cover your GED test fees. You must apply for funding for each test. The Foundation will only support one test—retests are at your own expense. Please fill out a Test Fee Scholarship Form and submit it to your teacher. You will receive an email notification if your request has been approved. Please allow at least two business days for processing.
