|Creating connections for student success….that’s what the new RTC Student Programs and Engagement Department is going to do! This summer, Jessica (Anciu) Supinski was hired as director of this department and she is responsible for four areas: Student Leadership (ASG and clubs), Career Center (with Michelle Iko), Multicultural Activities and the redesign of the Learning Resource Center.

- Recruit ASG Senators: eight students from each instructional dean’s area will be recruited in November to serve on the ASG Senate and the first Senate meeting will be held in January 2013.
- Start Clubs/Student Organizations:> Information sessions about how to start a club/student organization will be offered this quarter and applications will be accepted in early December!
- Invite you to the Student Leadership and Career Center Open House: We’re redesigning J218 and we’ll invite you when we have our grand opening!
- Redesign the Learning Resource Center (C102): The LRC will be the center of tutoring and other learning support needs! This quarter, students will be able to access eTutoring, drop-in tutoring in math, English and writing and request specialized peer-to-peer tutoring services.
