It's
a reality that employers work hard to find qualified applicants
and RTC graduates and students are eager to talk to
professionals in their chosen occupational field. But, how do we
bring these groups, who have similar goals but much different
starting points, together? Through our Professional Profiles
series.
We
will be profiling students selected by faculty in each
successive issue. Faculty members can comment not only on how
well-trained a student is but also on harder to define
characteristics of a strong employee including timeliness,
attitude, and teamwork.
So,
how do employers connect with graduates? It's as simple as:
- Instructors
refer students for profiling.
- Graduates
are profiled.
- Interested
employers contact the Office of Business Development by
replying to this newsletter or calling the office at

- The
Office of Business Development contacts the referring
faculty member.
- Faculty
connects student with employer.
