RTC welcomes community to read the Constitution

Renton Technical College will mark Constitution Day with a complete reading of the 100 articles of the Constitution. RTC partnered with the King County Library System (KCLS) to host the event at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Cafeteria in the I Building. Readings will begin at 11:30 and continue until all articles are read.

The college welcomes the greater Renton and KCLS community to join us in the celebration. The first 50 people will receive their own pocket-sized U.S. Constitution. Each individual will be assigned a passage and may be asked to read more than one depending on the number of participants.

Constitution Day is an opportunity for RTC students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community to broaden their understanding of the privileges afforded by the U.S. Constitution. This is a day to engage with these founding articles and celebrate our rights and responsibilities as citizens.
