Message from President Kevin McCarthy
Feb. 12, 2019

Dear faculty, staff, and students,

While I know all of us are eager to get back to work and school, the conditions on campus remain dangerous, so RTC will be closed again Wednesday, Feb. 13. The safety of our students and personnel are my top priority, and several parts of campus remain unpassable. Our facility crews have been hard at work to clear snow from the parking lots and walkways, but the continued snow, and now rain, have made that challenging. In addition to the snow and slush on the ground, we are concerned about snow falling from rooftops and have several fallen trees that must be cleared before normal operations can resume.

I want to thank our security, facilities, and custodial staff who have been on campus working hard during this winter weather. They are working as quickly and safely as they can to prepare the campus for reopening.

Students who have questions about their classes should contact their instructors. Please continue to take care of yourselves and be safe. We will keep you updated.
