Renton Technical College Hires New Dean of Allied Health

Renton, Wash. —Renton Technical College (RTC) hired Christopher Carter as Dean of the Allied Health program, which includes 14 career and degree programs. Christopher began his duties on Nov. 16. Originally from California, he joins RTC with considerable leadership experience, as well as an impressive background in Allied Health teaching and administration.

RENTON, Wash. – The Renton Technical College (RTC) Foundation is pleased to announce recipients for its winter scholarships.

Founded in 1993, the RTC Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of RTC students by supporting career training, educational advancement and program success at Renton Technical College. The Foundation has established many different funds to support student needs. These scholarships are funded by RTC supporters who want to give every RTC student the chance to succeed.

Students Build Tiny Houses for Seattle Area Homeless

Students of Renton Technical College’s (RTC) Construction Trades Prep and Property Maintenance programs, along with their instructors, have partnered with the Seattle-based nonprofit Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI), to build tiny houses for area homeless.
