Legal Assistant Program Visits King County Superior Court

The Legal Assistant Program visited King County Superior Court in Seattle recently to see criminal law in action. Students viewed criminal arraignments (including some high-profile cases), watched closing arguments in the first degree murder trial State v. Berhe, and even had a Q&A with the court’s presiding criminal judge, Judge Dean Lum.

Foundation Announces New Board Member

The RTC Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Townsend to the Board of Directors. Jay works for First Financial Northwest Bank as the Assistant Vice President/Business Banking Manager. The Foundation Board of Directors voted unanimously to confirm Townsend. He will serve a three-year term - through February 2019.

Sears Makes Presentation to MART Students

RTC eLearning Graduate Honored by President of Tiawan

David Alexander, an RTC eLearning certificate holder, was one of 12 people who received the Order of the Brilliant Star with Violet Grand Cordon from Taiwan’s president Ma Ying-jeou. This award, normally given to Taiwan citizens (and occasionally to foreigners) was in recognition of a high degree of service to the nation over many years.
