The Men of Merit welcomes everyone who wants to support male students of color or other students at RTC.

Our Mission
To establish a brotherhood for the holistic development of students by providing service for academic excellence, scholarships, community involvement, and career success.
Our Vision
The Men of Merit Association (MMA) at Renton Technical College will foster unity, academic achievement, and career placement, and will support the College's mission by guiding students toward graduation through educational resources, student support services, mentorship and leadership programs, and community engagement.
Our Objectives
- To promote unity among an underserved student population.
- To increase retention and graduation rates among members.
- To inspire leadership among students and provide peer-to-peer support
- To provide mentorship for bridging academic programs to successful career opportunities.
- To actively engage in community service and have a presence within the surrounding areas.
- To provide scholarships and additional funding sources to assist with tuition, books, and fees.
Development Initiatives:
- Motivational and public speaking invitations
- Consistent mentor interaction
- Peer-to-peer leadership
- Academic tutoring participation
- On-campus faculty, staff, and administration support
- Community service projects
- Recognition awards and scholarship offerings
