REGISTERED NURSE
Begin your journey toward a rewarding career in healthcare with our dynamic two-year Registered Nurse (RN) program. Experience immersive, hands-on training in state-of-the-art labs and clinical settings, preparing you to thrive in hospitals, clinics, and beyond. Many of our students receive job offers before graduation. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and step confidently into the role of a licensed Registered Nurse.
The application is open once a year in June for Fall quarter enrollment, and we are accepting 24 applicants.

- Applications are open from June 1 to July 31, 2026 for Fall 2026 enrollment.
- Application deadline: July 31, 2026, ends at 11:59 p.m. PT.
- Selected applicants will be notified by August 6, 2026.

Associate of Applied Science - Transfer
The Nursing Program at Renton Technical College prepares students for employment as registered nurses in a variety of health care environments in the surrounding community. Successful completion of the program results in an Associate in Applied Sciences-Transfer (AAS-T) degree and eligibility to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).

The Nursing Program at Renton Technical College is currently conditionally approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON). The Nursing Program is not nationally accredited. The program’s NCLEX pass rates were 66.67% in 2021, 70% in 2022, and 80.95% in 2023.
