PHYS& 114 - General Physics I (5 credits)
This course is the first in a three quarter sequence of algebra-based physics. The
course provides an introduction to mechanics, kinematics, energy, and conservation
principles. Laboratory investigations, technical writing, problem solving using both
physical and mathematical reasoning strategies and the scientific method of inquiry
skills will be emphasized. Laboratory included. Prerequisite: MATH& 141.
