A student is considered officially enrolled in a course or program by registering and paying all tuition and fees. The student has the responsibility for completion of the registration form and payment of tuition and fees each quarter.

Registration dates for new and continuing degree/certificate program students are assigned and sent to students prior to each registration period. All degree/certificate program tuition and fees must be paid by students on the due dates specified in the fee notices. Students will be withdrawn from programs if tuition and fees are not paid when due.

Continuing Education students

If an individual is new to the college and wishes to register with the web option, they are required to apply for admission through Online Student Services. When the admissions application is processed, the individual will be provided with a student identification number and PIN.
The web registration option requires that students have a student identification number and PIN number to access web registration.
Pay tuition at the time of registration
Purchase required books, tools and/or supplies.
Adult Basic Education or GED classes
Must complete a registration form
Pay a $25 quarterly fee.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals under age 18 must have a completed high school release form.
No placement test is required.
Individuals registering for English as a Second Language classes
Complete a registration form to be placed on pre-registration list if applicable.
Take a CASAS test to determine the appropriate level.
Pay a $25 quarterly fee when notified to start classes.
Tech Prep Students
Individuals wishing to enroll in Tech Prep classes must register with the Puget Sound Dual Credit Career Consortium through their high school career programs.
Individuals wishing to enroll in various apprenticeship programs offered at Renton Technical College must enroll directly through the specific apprenticeship program. All checks and money orders must be payable to Renton Technical College.
Please note that all tuition refunds are made in accordance with the College's Tuition Refund Policy.
